The Rethabile positive parenting activity is being run by 4Children Lesotho with caregivers and teens ages 9 to 24 for the purpose of reducing harsh parenting practices (i.e., violence) and improving positive parenting practices. The training manual consists of: (i) Tools for communication, reassurance and comfort for staff working directly with distressed children; (ii) Advice and guidance for staff working with parents and primary care-givers; (iii) Suggestions for ways to support a distressed child. It provides a non-i...ntrusive skills set of communication and actions that can be used by staff working with survivors of distressing events. The training programme develops skills for providing physical and emotional comfort by modeling calmness and enables a constructive format through active listening that allows survivors to voice their concerns and needs. It also helps to connect survivors to practical assistance through referral networks and information on positive coping strategies.

J'enchaînerai avec une analyse des interactions en classe et j'insisterai sur les techniques de vulgarisation employées par l'enseignant en me focalisant sur les activités explicatives. Là encore, je partirai d'extraits des données pour étayer mon argumentation (chap. 4). Et je terminerai avec une petite conclusion où je tâcherai de montrer quelles pourraient être les retombées pratiques de ces analyses (chap. 5)
