Faciliter l’accès aux soins de santé primaires et assurer une couverture sanitaire universelle à la population reste un défi de grande taille pour les pays en voie de développement. En effet malgré quelques efforts consentis ces dernières décennies, le problème d’accessibilité aux so...ins de santé est loin d’être résolu. Outre le problème épineux des ressources humaines s’ajoutent des difficultés liées à l’organisation et au fonctionnement des systèmes de santé, au financement des systèmes de santé, à la prestations de soins de qualité et à l’accès aux médicaments de base. Tous ceci ayant un impact désastreux sur la population notamment les plus pauvres qui n’arrivent plus à bénéficier de soins de qualité permettant d’obtenir une santé optimale.

Ce guide s’adresse à tous les prestataires de soins impliqués dans la prise en charge des enfants. Il peut être utilisé aussi bien au niveau opérationnel qu’au niveau des hôpitaux.

Son objectif général est d’améliorer la prise en charge de la tuberculose de l’enfant au Sé...négal et plus spécifiquement de :
• renforcer le dépistage précoce des cas de tuberculose infantile
• proposer une approche standardisée de diagnostic et de traitement de la tuberculose de l’enfant
• proposer une approche standardisée de gestion des cas contacts de tuberculose
• améliorer la prise en charge de la co-infection TB/VIH et de la tuberculose multirésistante de l’enfant

The activities that PMI is proposing to support fit in well with the new National Malaria Control strategy and plan (2016-2020) and build on investments made by PMI and other partners to improve and expand malaria-related services, including the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria (Global Fund) malaria grants. This document briefly reviews the current status of malaria control policies and interventions in Senegal, describes progress to date, identifies challenges and unmet needs to achieving the targets of the NMCP and PMI, and provides a description of activities that are planned with FY 2017 funding.

In 2020, UNRWA will continue to support Palestine refugees affected by the protracted crisis through providing relief assistance and ensuring access to essential education and health services. Drawing on its existing structures, supply chains and capacities, the Agency will continue to adapt its int...erventions to respond to ongoing and evolving needs in an effective and agile manner. In Syria, it is expected that the spontaneous return of Palestine refugees from within and outside the country will continue in areas that experience relative calm and where basic infrastructure is rehabilitated, as observed in Sbeineh and Khan Eshieh camps in recent years. In 2020, UNRWA will increase its efforts to rehabilitate its facilities and restore its services in areas of spontaneous return, including in Dera’a, where small scale returns have been observed in 2019.
