The video was created by Chocolate Moose Media, an organisation specialising in the use of film and animation for behaviour change, and mobile-health-education innovator iHeed, in collaboration with United Methodist Communications, who provided partial funding.
The video, which uses only young voices, is being made available in eight versions: Nigerian English and Pidgin, South African English, French (for Ivory Coast and Guinea), Sierra Leone English, and Liberian English and Krio. It can be downloaded in high definition, low definition, and for use on mobile platforms.

awareness raising and on prevention rather than treatment, reflecting CHGN’s aim of promoting community-based health initiatives. We have however, also included some resources on caring for people with Ebola, contact tracing and safe burial practices that are aimed primarily at health professionals. We have included guides on psychosocial support that are relevant to both health professionals and community members.

A broad range of UNHCR’s key priorities overlap with MHPSS issues – for example, child protection and sexual and gender-based violence [SGBV] prevention and response.
Despite all these existent synergies, UNHCR’s current policies and guidelines do not sufficiently link with MHPSS principles.

For example, the Community Services section, which is closely aligned to the principles of MHPSS and could be well-positioned to guide the implementation of related programs, has not adopted the MHPSS language or approach.
There are opportunities for UNHCR to engage more strongly and clearly in this field. However, this requires a vision for how the organisation as a whole, and particular sectors within the organisation, will engage within the field of MHPSS activities. For a start, UNHCR can work to improve its understanding and framing of mental health and psychosocial issues, and how these issues fit within its broader mandate.
While the majority of MHPSS activities are delivered by implementing partners, UNHCR staff require familiarity with core principles in the field, such as the Intervention Pyramid contained in the IASC Guidelines, in order to support and monitor quality MHPSS activities.

lten werden und viele Menschen leiden bis heute unter gesundheitlichen Problemen, denen sie hilflos ausgeliefert sind.Die DAHW Deutsche Lepra- und Tuberkulosehilfe e.V. hat sich daher bereits vor über 60 Jahren zum Ziel gesetzt, dieser Ungerechtigkeit entgegenzuwirken. Da Gesundheit vor allem in den ärmeren Ländern der Erde nicht rechtmäßig gewährleistet werden kann, liegt der Fokus der Organisation auf der Bekämpfung der Krankheiten der Armut und ihren Folgen. So besteht die Vision der DAHW da-rin, mit ihrer Tätigkeit dazu beizutragen, eine Welt zu schaffen, in der kein Mensch unter Lepra, Tuberkulose und anderen Krankheiten der Armut und ihren Folgen wie Behinderung und Ausgren-zung leidet. Dafür ist sie in 19 Ländern der Erde tätig.Der Einsatz für weltweite Gerechtigkeit und Gesundheit kann jedoch nur gelingen, wenn jeder Mensch dafür seine Verantwortung und Handlungsmöglichkeiten erkennt. HI forme des professionnels de la santé et de la réadaptation fonctionnelle. Grâce à son projet éducatif, l’association facilite l'accès et le maintien d’enfants handicapés à l’école primaire.
