Dans le but d’améliorer la santé des populations, à l’instar d’autres pays de la région, le Bénin a adopté plusieurs stratégies et programmes tels que le Programme Elargi de Vaccination et des Soins de Santé Primaires (PEV/SSP), le Programme National de Lutte contre le Paludisme (PNLP)..., la Prise en charge Intégrée des Maladies de l’Enfant (PCIME), Santé Maternelle et Infantile (SMI), … Ceux-ci ont mobilisé différentes ressources tant nationales qu’internationales à travers le budget de l’Etat et l’appui des Partenaires Techniques et Financiers. L’évolution des indicateurs en matière de santé et de développement des communautés montre que les interventions visant le niveau communautaire sont conçues et mises en oeuvre avec une faible participation de ces dernières.

communautaire est devenue une réalité incontournable. Dans
la zone sanitaire Avrankou Adjarra Ak...pro-Missérété (3A) du
département de l’Ouémé, les relais sont appuyés par l’UNICEF
et l’ONG Africare. L’objectif de notre travail a été d’étudier
la qualité de l’apport des relais dans la mise en oeuvre de la
PCIME-Communautaire.

L’impact socio-économique et sanitaire du VIH/Sida fait désormais de cette affection, tant un problème de santé publique qu’un problème de développement. C’est donc pour ne pas laisser les personnes infectées en marge du développement de notre pays, que leur prise en charge a été identifiée comme domaine de prestation de service avec des directives nationales de prise en charge des PVVIH diffusées.

Le Bénin à l’instar des autres pays d’Afrique subsaharienne, fait face à une épidémie généralisée du VIH qui est actuellement au centre des préoccupations de santé publique et de développement. De 2002 à 2006, la prévalence nationale est stabilisée autour de 2% grâce à une améli...oration de la prise en charge des PVVIH, une augmentation du nombre de patients sous ARV, et un renforcement du partenariat avec la société civile y compris le secteur privé. En 2007, on a observé une légère inflexion à 1,7% de la prévalence.
Les conséquences multiples de l’infection par le VIH ont très vite imposé la nécessité d’une prise en charge globale des personnes infectées et affectées. Les interventions sont désormais multiples et intégrées allant de la prévention à la prise en charge en passant par le conseil - dépistage (CD).

Recommendations to develop guidelines on community-based rehabilitation (CBR) were made during the International Consultation to Review Community-based Rehabilitation which was held in Helsinki, Finland in 2003. WHO; the International Labour Organization; the United Nations Educational, Scientific ...and Cultural Organization; and the International Disability and Development Consortium – notably CBM, Handicap International, the Italian Association Amici di Raoul Follereau, Light for the World, the Norwegian Association of Disabled and Sightsavers – have worked closely together to develop the Community-based rehabilitation guidelines. More than 180 individuals and representatives of nearly 300 organizations, mostly from low-income and middle-income countries around the world, have been involved in their development.

L’importance des fruits et légumes pour une alimentation saine et riche en éléments nutritifs est largement reconnue et, au cours des dernières années, les consommateurs ont été encouragés à manger davantage de ces produits. La politique de SR sert de référence aux décideurs nationaux et aux partenaires du
développement socio-sanitaire pour la planification et les interventions.
Elle est une composante de la politique sanitaire nationale et un élément de
promotion de la santé des groupes vulnérables que sont entre autres les femmes, les
enfants, les adolescents et les jeunes.

L’objectif de cette boîte à outils est de rassembler les enseignements et les orientations actuels comme point de départ pour que les parties prenantes entament le travail de préparation en matière de SSR. Dans le cadre de la SSR, le domaine de la préparation est relativement nouveau et en p...leine expansion. Un effort collectif plus important est nécessaire pour évaluer l’incidence de la préparation et faire avancer le domaine. Cet effort constitue la première ébauche d’un projet d’orientations de la préparation en matière de SSR, et est destiné aux essais sur le terrain. La présente boîte à outils reconnaît le travail de longue date effectué dans le domaine de la gestion des situations d’urgence et des risques de catastrophe, et s’efforce de faire le lien entre ce travail et le domaine de la santé sexuelle et reproductive, axé sur les droits humains et sur les personnes.

The Second Edition offers an up-to-date global technical guidance on providing a model of quality care for children and families affected by sexual abuse in humanitarian settings. The new resources include both revised and content additions based on practitioner feedback, the most recent evidence and learning. In particular, the Guidelines aim to bring a stronger focus on gender inequality, intersectionality, as well as the connections between the best interests of the child and a survivor-centered approach.
