This working draft develops guidance on conducting effective evaluations of conflict prevention and peacebuilding work. The current working draft will be used for a one year application phase through 2008. It is the result of an ongoing collaborative project by the OECD DAC Networks on Development E...valuation and on Conflict, Peace and Development Co-operation (CPDC). The two Networks began this collaboration in 2005, responding to the need expressed by CPDC members for greater clarity regarding techniques and issues of evaluation in their field. An assessment of past conflict and peace evaluations and a study of current practices were undertaken in 2006 and identified a need for further guidance.

An estimated 7.7 million men, women, boys and girls are in acute need of protection and assistance. While the humanitarian community has provided life-saving assistance to over 5.6 mi...llion affected people in 2017 and helped stabilise living conditions for millions of people, reducing mortality and morbidity, significant humanitarian needs still remain.

This paper reviews the effects of vertical responses to COVID-19 on health systems, services, and people’s access to and use of them in LMICs, where historic and ongoing under-investments heighten vulnerability to a multiplicity of health threats. La publication du Protocole de Maputo au Journal officiel de la nation en 2018 a formalisé l’obligation... du gouvernement d’élargir l’accès à l’avortement médicalisé dans les conditions énoncées au Protocole. Néanmoins, les obstacles à la mise en œuvre continuent de rendre les services d’avortement sécurisé largement inaccessibles. En conséquence, la majorité des femmes de Kinshasa qui choisissent d’interrompre leur grossesse le font-elles dans la clandestinité — souvent dans des conditions non médicalisées potentiellement dangereuses pour leur santé.
