As part of Tanzania's program to increase infection prevention and control throughout the country, an SBCC strategy was developed. Part of this strategy was the development of a handwashing poster for display.

The 2018/19 rainy season was marked by a delayed start of season, below average rainfall, early cessation of rains, and heavy late season rainfall and flooding associated with Tropical Cyclones Desmond, I...dai, and Kenneth.
In most of the south, rainfall was delayed and erratic resulting in a reduction of area planted as well as poor germination, crop establishment, and multiple planting attempts. Additionally, mid-season dryness resulted in poor cropping conditions along with permanent wilting and crop failure in localized areas.

APHIA is currently in its third iteration, APHIAPlus, which began in January 2011 and is slated to end in December 2015. APHIAPlus was designed to contribute to Result 3 (“Increased use of quality health services, products, and information”) and Result 4 (“Social determinants of health”) of USAID/Kenya’s implementation framework. The PSA tea...m interviewed more than120 individuals from approximately 78 organizations, including the government of Senegal (GOS), donors, USAID implementing partners, private sector umbrella organizations, private insurance companies, faith-based organizations (FBOs), nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), private health care facilities, and private pharmacies.

Public health programs must have a proactive presence in these information-sharing spaces to provide access to trusted and accurate information.

InfoSapiens research agency, commissioned by USAID Economic Resilience Activity, conducted a telephone survey in different regions of Ukraine in August 2022. A total of 1,000 women and men aged 16 to 60+ were asked about access to the Internet, jobs, gender-based violence, and business prospects dur...ing the war.
Almost half – 45% of people – responded that they do not have access to the Internet or a computer and cannot study or work online.
One in five respondents is forced to save on groceries or borrow to buy something other than food (telephone, furniture).
