Psychosocial support is a very important component in Gender Based Violence response that provide appropriate care, protection and social integration. Psychological aspects affect thoughts, emotions, behavior, memory, learning ability, perceptions and understanding. While the social aspects have ef...fects on relationships, often shaped by traditions, culture ,values, family and community, but also include one’s status in the community and economic wellbeing. These have different effects on the women, men, boys and girls as victims /survivors and perpetuators.

Key Recommendations for an Inclusive Urban Agenda
The UNAIDS 2020 global report is a call to action. It highlights the scale of the HIV epidemic and how it runs along the fault lines of inequalities.
2020 is a critical year for our Joint Programme as we collectively define the path to getting back on track to ending the AIDS epidemic by 2030. Our revised timelines for adoption of the next strategy are highly ambitious. We need the full support of all the tremendously dedicated people in UNAIDS-w...ithin our staff, our board and all our stakeholders to make this happen.
