The report presents the latest data on more than 50 health-related Sustainable Development Goal and "triple billion" target indicators. The 2021 edition includes preliminary estimates for global excess deaths attributable to COVID-19 for 2020 and the state of global and regional health trends from 2...000-2019. It also focuses on persistent health inequalities and data gaps that have been accentuated by the pandemic, with a call to urgently invest in health information systems to ensure the world is better prepared with better data.

Данная книга, написанная в форме вопросов и ответов, являетсяпервым шагом в этом направлении. Я надеюсь, что она станет доступной длявсех специалистов, участвующих в борьбе с туберкулезом, организаторов здравоохранения и администраторов, ответственных за формирование и выполнение национальных программ борьбы с туберкулезом, а также всех медицинскихработников, ежедневно решающих конкретные задачи борьбы с туберкулезомна местах.

In 2001, the WHO stated that: "The use of mobile and wireless technologies to support the achievement of health objectives (mHealth) has the potential to transform the face of health service delivery across the globe".... Within mental health, interventions and monitoring systems for depression, anxiety, substance abuse, eating disorder, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder have been developed and used. The present paper presents the status and findings from studies using automatically generated objective smartphone data in the monitoring of bipolar disorder, and addresses considerations on the current literature and methodological as well as clinical aspects to consider in the future studies.
