L’utilisation de ce guide permettra un diagnostic de qualité de l’infection palustre, gage d’une bonne prise en charge nécessaire pour atteindre les objectifs ambitieux du PSN 2016- 2020 Tous ensemble, pour un Sénégal émergent sans paludisme pour un développement durable.

Le Tableau 1 ci-dessous présente les résultats de la campagne d’aspersion 2016 qui a été mise en œuvre sur une durée globale de vingt jours opérationnels par district du 11 juillet au 02 Août 2016 dans les trois districts (Nioro, Koumpentoum et Koungheu...l), et de six jours opérationnels à Malem Hoddar du 21 au 26 juillet 2016.

L’impact des interventions de lutte contre le paludisme, ces dernières années, a fortement modifié la répartition géographique du fardeau de la maladie. Cette nouvelle configuration impose une stratification plus opérationnelle permettant d’adapter les interventions aux caractéristiques ...pidémiologiques locales. L’approche focalisée des interventions spécifiques par zone devient alors un impératif.
Le présent PSN pour la période 2016 - 2020 clarifie ces nouvelles orientations strategiques.

Nigeria reported its first case of COVID-19 at the end of February 2020 and subsequently experienced

restrictions. The most significant service disruptions
were in maternal and newborn health, vaccination,
sick childcare, family planning and noncommunicable
disease treatment services (1). Pregnant women

facilities for antenatal (ANC) and postnatal care (PNC).
