Cinquième Enquête Démographique et de Santé au Bénin (EDSB-V) 2017-2018
La mise à jour 2017 du rapport du Programme commun de suivi de l'approvisionnement en eau et de l'assainissement présente les indicateurs et les estimations de base pour les objectifs de développement durable liés à l'approvisionnement en eau, à l'assainissement et à l'hygiène. Le rapport é...nonce les indicateurs des services d'approvisionnement en eau potable et d'assainissement "gérés en toute sécurité", ce qui va au-delà de l'utilisation d'installations améliorées et prend en compte de la qualité des services fournis. Pour la première fois, des estimations relatives à l'hygiène pour 70 pays sont incluses dans le rapport.

Chaque année, 2,6 millions de bébés meurent avant l’âge d’un mois. Un million d’entre eux rendent leur dernier souffle le jour même de leur naissance. Pourtant, des millions de jeunes vies pourraient être épargnées chaque année si les mères et les bébés avaient accès à des soins ...de santé abordables et de qualité, à une nutrition correcte et à de l’eau potable. Ce rapport appelle à une coopération solide entre les gouvernements, les entreprises, les prestataires de soins de santé, les communautés et les familles pour donner à chaque enfant une chance de vivre et travailler collectivement pour atteindre une couverture sanitaire universelle et un monde dans lequel aucun nouveau-né ne meurt d’une cause évitable.

Guide pédagogique à l’intention des femmes enceintes et des mères vivant avec le VIH
Santé positive, dignité et prévention pour les femmes et leurs bébés a été conçu pour être utilisé par des réseaux de femmes vivant avec le VIH, des groupes de femmes, des pairs-éducateu...rs ou d’autres personnes souhaitant aider les femmes vivant avec le VIH à prendre certaines décisions importantes avant, pendant, et après leur grossesse. Il ne remplace pas la visite à un établissement de santé ni la consultation d’un professionnel de santé.
Ils apportent des informations précises et complètes qui permettront aux femmes enceintes et aux mères vivant avec le VIH de connaître leurs droits et ainsi de prendre des décisions éclairées concernant leur santé et la santé de leur bébé.

Dans de nombreux pays, les données probantes montrent que plus de 40 % des décès associ...és à la COVID-19 ont eu lieu dans des établissements de soins de longue durée, les chiffres pouvant atteindre 80 % dans certains pays à revenu élevé.
