Faciliter l’accès aux soins de santé primaires et assurer une couverture sanitaire universelle à la population reste un défi de grande taille pour les pays en voie de développement. En effet malgré quelques efforts consentis ces dernières décennies, le problème d’accessibilité aux so...ins de santé est loin d’être résolu. Outre le problème épineux des ressources humaines s’ajoutent des difficultés liées à l’organisation et au fonctionnement des systèmes de santé, au financement des systèmes de santé, à la prestations de soins de qualité et à l’accès aux médicaments de base. Tous ceci ayant un impact désastreux sur la population notamment les plus pauvres qui n’arrivent plus à bénéficier de soins de qualité permettant d’obtenir une santé optimale.

The GAP articulates five objectives for tackling AMR, and sets out the tasks required to achieve them, highlighting
roles and responsibilities for country governments, the One Health Tripartite organizations (FAO, OIE and WHO) and other national and international partners. To ensure that all stakeh...olders assume their roles and responsibilities, and to assess whether they are collectively effecting the necessary change in AMR, the implementation of the GAP needs to be routinely monitored and evaluated. To that end, the Tripartite organizations co-developed a monitoring and evaluation (M&E) framework for the GAP, as outlined in this document

Le Projet Santé de l’USAID/Sénégal, qui se veut une réponse robuste et stratégique à ces défis, a pour objectif d’améliorer l’état de santé des populations des régions les plus démunies tout en apportant une assistance ciblée aux régions enregistrant les taux les plus bas de mort...alité maternelle et néonatale. Les activités du projet sont en phase avec la Stratégie de coopération au développement pays de l’USAID/Sénégal (CDCS)1 et tiennent comptent des contextes socio-économique et culturel du Sénégal, ainsi que des déterminants essentiels qui ont un impact sur la morbidité nationale.
