They will also help preparedness and response teams working in safety crises to optimize their communication plans in order to regain, maintain, or strengthen trust in vaccines, vaccination, and immunization programs in general.

Abstract-The paper precisely and briefly explains the socio-economic challenges of persons with disabilities with focus on Ethiopia. The findings of the paper also indicates that, across the countries persons with disabilities have poorer health accesses, lower education achievements,... less social and economic participation and less rate of income than Persons disabilities experience barriers in accessing services that many of us have long taken for granted, including health, education, employment, transport and information as well as rehabilitation. These difficulties are exacerbated with high level of disability disadvantaged individuals. Based on the findings of this study, major socio-economic remedy directions are recommended which will be included in future policy enactment and implementations.

Arbeit der Psychosozialen Zentren für Flüchtlinge und Folteropfer (PSZ): Dort soll ein sicherer Raum für Geflüchtete geschaffen werden, damit sie über ihre Erlebnisse und Erfahrungen sprechen und psychosoziale Beratung und Unterstützung erhalten können. Auf der Basis eines menschenrechtlichen... Ansatzes soll im Kontakt mit dem Hilfesystem PSZ und seinen Netzwerken zumindest ein Stück weit Gerechtigkeit hergestellt werden. Doch oftmals ist eben dieses Herstellen von Sicherheit und Gerechtigkeit das Problem: Wie kann ein solcher Raum in den PSZ geschaffen werden, wenn in der Gesellschaft zunehmend rassistische und geflüchtetenfeindliche Tendenzen präsent sind? Wenn Geflüchtete und ihre Unterkünfte angegriffen werden? Wie können auch die Mitarbeiter*innen in den Zentren eine rassismus- und diskriminierungskritische Beratungs- und Therapiepraxis ermöglichen, die Machtstrukturen im PSZ und eigene Privilegien und Positionen in der Gesellschaft reflektieren und abbauen?

Im Vergleich hab...en Menschen in Ländern mit höheren Einkommen eine höhere Lebenserwartung. Die höchste Krankheitslast pro Mensch tritt in Ländern mit niedrigem Einkommen auf. Den größten Anteil an der gesamten globalen Krankheitslast haben Länder mit mittlerem Einkommen, in denen rund drei Viertel der Weltbevölkerung lebt. Im Mittel sind die Gesundheitsausgaben in Ländern mit höheren Einkommen insgesamt sowie pro Kopf höher als die Gesundheitsausgaben in Ländern mit niedrigeren Einkommen.

In December 2018, the President launched the UHC pilot covering four strategically selected counties-Isiolo, Kisumu, Machakos and Nyeri. It isplanned that by the year 2022, all persons in Kenya will be able to use the essential services they need for their health... and wellbeing through a single unified benefit package, without the risk of financial catastrophe. Essential health products are considered an integral part of UHC andare an indispensable element for delivery ofservices andare also a requirement for qualitycare. Suicide is a serious public health problem surrounded by stigma, myths, and taboos. With an annual average of 81,746 suicide deaths in the period 2010–2014 and an age-adjusted suicide rate of 9.3 per 100,000 population (age-unadjusted rate of 9.6), suicide continues to be a public health problem o...f great relevance in the Region of the Americas. Contrary to common belief, suicides are preventable with timely, evidence-based, and often low-cost interventions. It is estimated that for each suicide that occurs, there are more than 20 attempts. Suicide can occur at any age and it is the third highest cause of death among young people between the ages of 20 and 24 in the Region of the Americas.

Governments and communities can ...contribute to suicide prevention by implementing LIVE LIFE – WHO’s approach to starting suicide prevention so that countries can build on it further to develop a comprehensive national suicide prevention strategy. The guide is for all countries, with or without a national suicide prevention strategy; national or local focal points for suicide prevention, mental health, alcohol or NCDs; and community stakeholders with a vested interest or who may already be engaged in implementing suicide prevention activities.
