These measures include flood mapping, river flood warning systems, television-based disaster information and warning systems, training at all government and grassroots levels on disaster preparedness, and reforestation of certain areas. They can be used for identifying funding gaps, evaluating the allocation of scarce resources, and comparing funding across time and countries.
