Kachin, 8,800 in Shan and 10,300 in Kayin who remain displaced as a result of the armed conflict.
It also includes about 128,000 people in Rakhine, the vast majority of whom are stateless, who
were displaced as a result of the violence in 2012.

Education in emergencies is a young area; the evidence of its impact is often anecdotal, and although its status as a humanitarian concern has gained legitimacy in recent years, it has yet to be accepted across the humanitarian community. The number of new Ebola infections in Sierra Leone is declining, despite the outbreak continuing to claim lives. New cases have dropped to around 9-12 per week, according to recent WHO figures. There were over 500 cases per week at the height of the crisis around late November 2014.
