The EDPRS 2 period is the time when our private sector is expected to take the driving seat in economic growth and poverty reduction. Through this strategy we will focus government efforts on transforming the economy, the private sector and alleviating constraints to growth of
investment. We will develop the appropriate skills and competencies to allow our people particularly the youth to become more productive and competitive to support our ambitions. We will also strengthen the platform for communities to engage decisively and to continue to develop home grown solutions that have been the bedrock of our success. These are fundamental principles as we work to improve the lives of all Rwandans in the face of an uncertain global economic environment.

The Government of Republic of Zambia reported the first confirmed cases of COVID-19 on 18th March 2020. As of April 27th, 2020, there were 89 confirmed cases, three deaths and 42 recoveries. Confirmed cases are located in three provinces: Lusaka (83 cases), Copperbelt province (5 cases) and Central ...(1 case). Zambia introduced a series of measures including closure of three international airports, closure of all schools, movement restrictions and closure of non-essential services such as restaurant, bar, gym and public gatherings to curb the transmission rate.

In Deutschland leben ca. 200.000 Geflüchtete in Aufnahmeeinrichtungen und Gemeinschaftsunterkünften (Stand:31.12.2018). Massnahmen der physischen Distanzierung sind in der Sammelunterbringung für Geflüchtete meist nicht oder nur bedingt umsetzbar: Beengte Verhältnisse, Mehrbettzimmer und gemein...schaftliche Nutzung von Küchen und Sanitäranlagen stellen Kontexte dar, die eine Ausbreitung von Infektionserkrankungen begünstigen. Zunehmend werden in diesen Settings Infektionen mit dem neuartigen Coronavirus (SARS‐CoV‐2) bekannt. Die Ansätze zu Prävention und Management von SARS‐CoV‐2 sind regional unterschiedlich, Vorgaben fehlen bisher auf nationaler und internationaler Ebene. So werden vielerorts Aufnahmeeinrichtungen und Gemeinschaftsunterkünfte beim Auftreten einer SARS‐CoV‐2‐Infektion unter Geflüchteten kollektiv unter Quarantäne gestellt.

Cependant, des centaines de millions de personnes s’exposent à un risque accru d’infection en cherchant à obtenir des soins dans des éta...blissements de santé dépourvus de produits de première nécessité, notamment de services d’approvisionnement en eau, d’assainissement et d’hygiène, de gestion des déchets biomédicaux et de nettoyage (services WASH). L’absence de services WASH dans les établissements de santé compromet la sécurité et la dignité des patients, tout en menaçant d’exacerber la propagation d’infections résistantes aux agents antimicrobiens et en fragilisant les efforts déployés pour améliorer la santé des enfants et des mères.
