The 2020 edition of the World malaria report takes a historical look at key milestones that helped shape the global response to the disease over the last 2 decades – a period of unprecedented success in malaria control. The report features a detailed analysis on progress towards the 2020 milestone...s of WHO’s global malaria strategy and a special section on malaria and the COVID-19 pandemic.
As in past years, the report provides an up-to-date assessment of the burden of malaria at global, regional and country levels. It tracks investments in malaria programmes and research as well as progress across all intervention areas. This latest report draws on data from 87 countries and territories with ongoing malaria transmission.

Ce document a pour but d'encourager les pays à élaborer et à mettre en œuvre des politiques visant à maintenir et à renforcer les programmes et mesures de prévention des infections dans les établissements de soins de santé dans le contexte de la transmission... actuelle du SRAS-CoV-2, tout en reconnaissant que les tendances épidémiologiques peuvent varier et que le risque de transmission d'autres agents pathogènes existe.

Le choléra reste une menace mondiale pour la santé publique et un indicateur clé du
manque de développement social. La transmission du choléra est étroitement liée à
l’accès insuffisant à l’eau potable et à l’assainissement. Les zones typiques à risque sont
notamment les bido...nvilles périurbains et les zones rurales où les infrastructures de base
ne sont pas disponibles, ainsi que les camps de personnes déplacées ou de réfugiés où
les conditions de vie et l’accès à l’eau et aux systèmes d’assainissement sont insuffisants.
En 2015, plus de 170 000 cas et 1 300 décès (TL : 0,8 %) ont été signalés à l’OMS dans
42 pays, dont 41 % en Afrique 37 % en Asie et 21 % en Haïti. C

Les directives 2021 de l’European Resuscitation Council (ERC - Conseil Européen de Réanimation) sont fondées sur une série de revues systématiques, sur la revue du champ d'application, et sur les mises à jour des évidences de sciences de l’ILCOR (International Liaison Commitee on Resuscit...ation). Elles présentent les directives les plus récentes, basées sur des données probantes, pour la pratique de la réanimation en Europe. Ces directives portent sur l’épidémiologie de l’arrêt cardiaque, le rôle que jouent les systèmes de secours pour sauver des vies, la réanimation chez l’adulte, tant en réanimation de base, qu'en réanimation avancée, la réanimation dans des circonstances spéciales, les soins postréanimation, les premiers secours, la réanimation néonatale et pédiatrique, l'éthique et l'enseignement.

L'application de la technologie de santé numérique se développe rapidement en Afrique, dans
le but d'améliorer la prestation des services de santé et d'atteindre plus efficacement les
communautés éloignées et mal desservies. D'autre part, l'absence de lignes directrices et de
normes da...ns l'ensemble du continent rend difficile le partage des données de manière
significative sur l'ensemble du continent. C'est pourquoi les Centres africains de contrôle et
de prévention des maladies (Africa CDC) ont mis en place un groupe de travail composé de 24
membres afin de fournir une expertise et des conseils pour l'élaboration des lignes directrices
et des normes de l'UA en matière de HIE. Les membres du groupe de travail étaient des
experts en la matière travaillant en Afrique et au niveau international sur la collecte, l'analyse
et l'échange d'informations sur la santé. Certains de ces experts avaient participé à des
consultations antérieures sur la définition de la stratégie des systèmes d'information sur la
santé d'Afrique CDC. Un président, un coprésident et un secrétaire ont été élus pour impliquer
les membres de la tasé force dans différents groupes de travail techniques.

Ces directives se fondent sur la principale recommandation des Directives de qualité pour l’eau de boisson de l’Organisation mondiale de la santé ; elles visent à fournir des orientations concernant l’application de cette recommandation aux petits approvisionnements en eau en particulier. Ces directives visent à aider les gouvernements et les praticiens à améliorer la sécurité sanitaire de l’eau de boisson fournie par de petits approvisionnements.
