Child marriage is defined as a formal or informal union before the age of 18. The practice affects mostly girls. While child marriage is especially prevalent in low and lower-middle income countries, it is also observed in other countries. It endangers the life trajectories of girls in multiple ways.... Child brides are at greater risk of experiencing a range of poor health outcomes, having children at younger ages when they are not yet ready to do so, dropping out of school, earning less over their lifetimes and living in poverty compared to their peers who marry at later ages. sous silence. Elle tend à être dissimulée derrière ce qui est présenté
comme la vocation première du médicament, à savoir la santé des
individus, leur bien-être physique et psychique. Or, le caractère
marchand du médicament est un formidable vecteur de dynamiques
et d’initiatives. Il est peut-être ce qui explique avant tout
l’incroyable vitalité du secteur pharmaceutique de par la planète,
non sans poser de nombreux problèmes d’ordre sanitaire et de santé
publique.

Recommendations to develop guidelines on community-based rehabilitation (CBR) were made during the International Consultation to Review Community-based Rehabilitation which was held in Helsinki, Finland in 2003. WHO; the International Labour Organization; the United Nations Educational, Scientific ...and Cultural Organization; and the International Disability and Development Consortium – notably CBM, Handicap International, the Italian Association Amici di Raoul Follereau, Light for the World, the Norwegian Association of Disabled and Sightsavers – have worked closely together to develop the Community-based rehabilitation guidelines. More than 180 individuals and representatives of nearly 300 organizations, mostly from low-income and middle-income countries around the world, have been involved in their development.
