This document sets out Rwanda's Maternal, Neonatal Child Health (MNCH) national strategy (July 2013- June 2018). The MNCH strategy provides a framework for addressing maternal, neonatal and child health challenges currently facing Rwanda. It is an overarching strategy for scale up of the national re...sponse to reduce the current levels of maternal, neonatal and child mortality and morbidity in line with the
MDG health related targets and HSSP III targets. The life cycle approach and continuum of care concept, starting with care from the home environment to health facility, guided the development of this roadmap. It aims also to maintain and expand the coverage of cost effective and high impact interventions for maternal, neonatal and child survival in order to achieve national and international targets.

Finally, following a set of guiding principles, it proposes priority actions for WHO, the delivery model and a clear allocation of roles across the Organization.

In African traditional medicine, the curative, training, promotive and rehabilitative services are referred to as clinical practices. These traditional health care services are provided through tradition and culture prescribed under a particular philosophy, e.g. ubuntu or unhu. Norms, taboos, tradit...ion and culture, which are the cornerstones of clinical practice of traditional medicine, are the major reason for the acceptability of traditional health practitioners in the community they serve. The philosophical clinical care embedded in these traditions, culture and taboos have contributed to making traditional medicine practices acceptable and hence highly demanded by the population. What We Know, What We Don’t Know, and What We Need to Do
La lutte contre la tuberculose est une des priorités du ministère de la santé. C’est ainsi que le Plan Stratégique National de lutte contre la Tuberculose 2013-2017 du Sénégal a inscrit dans son programme d’actions la préoccupation de mieux d’améliorer la prise en charge des personnes ...vulnérables, dont les prisonniers. L’état de santé est un indicateur clef du bien être de la société, et les prisons servent de miroir. Une bonne compréhension des conditions sanitaires des détenus pourrait contribuer à améliorer le système de santé publique d’un pays. L’environnement carcéral est bien reconnu comme un lieu où les conditions de vie sont propices à la concentration de l’ensemble des maladies de la société, en premier lieu, les morbidités infectieuses.
