Der syrische Bürgerkrieg ist die schlimmste humanitäre Katastrophe unserer Zeit. Hunderttausende Men...schen – Erwachsene und Kinder – wurden getötet. Zwei Drittel aller Syrer haben ihr Zuhause und ihre Existenzgrundlage verloren. Millionen Syrer wurden aus ihrem Lebensumfeld gerissen und gezwungen, innerhalb ihres Landes oder in die Nachbarländer zu fliehen. Die enormen Auswirkungen auf andere Länder ziehen internationale Aufmerksamkeit auf sich. Diese richtet sich nicht nur auf die humanitäre Krise in den betroffenen Gebieten und Ländern, sondern auch auf deren wirtschaftliche und soziale Last. Das durch die verschiedenen Konfliktparteien verursachte Blutvergießen hält an, das Leid wird größer. Rund die Hälfte aller syrischen Flüchtlinge und Vertriebenen sind Kinder und Jugendliche: Diese sind doppelt verletzlich – als Kinder und als Flüchtlinge oder Vertriebene.

Les objectifs de ce document sont les suivants : 1. Encourager une prise de conscience générale sur la notion de genre et sur sa pertinence dans le contexte de la gestion des risques de sécurité. 2. Attirer l’attention sur les aspects du genre à prendre en compte et fournir des recommandations, tant au niveau du siège d’organisations qu’au niveau pays et du terrain, qui peuvent être intégrées au cadre de gestion des risques de sécurité existant ou sont susceptibles de le compléter.

La crise humanitaire que traverse la Centrafrique demeure complexe. Un total de 621 035 personnes sont déplacées à l’intérieur du pays et 572 984 personnes dans les pays voisins à la fin du mois d’août 2018. Le nombre de personnes dans le besoin est passé de 2,5 millions à 2,9 millions d...ont 1,6 million en besoin d’assistance aiguë et immédiate, soit une augmentation de 16% par rapport à l’année 2017. Cette augmentation est la conséquence directe de la multiplication des foyers de conflit dans plusieurs régions du pays, du nombre croissant d’incidents sécuritaires affectant les civils et les humanitaires, et du manque de ressources nécessaires qui mettent en péril les efforts de restauration des services de base. Les conséquences humanitaires de cette crise sont ressenties dans les domaines de la protection, du déplacement forcé des populations et de l’accès aux services sociaux de base.
