Guide technique pour la prise en charge des maladies cardiovasculaires dans le cadre des soins de santé primaires
La crise humanitaire que traverse la Centrafrique demeure complexe. Un total de 621 035 personnes sont déplacées à l’intérieur du pays et 572 984 personnes dans les pays voisins à la fin du mois d’août 2018. Le nombre de personnes dans le besoin est passé de 2,5 millions à 2,9 millions d...ont 1,6 million en besoin d’assistance aiguë et immédiate, soit une augmentation de 16% par rapport à l’année 2017. Cette augmentation est la conséquence directe de la multiplication des foyers de conflit dans plusieurs régions du pays, du nombre croissant d’incidents sécuritaires affectant les civils et les humanitaires, et du manque de ressources nécessaires qui mettent en péril les efforts de restauration des services de base. Les conséquences humanitaires de cette crise sont ressenties dans les domaines de la protection, du déplacement forcé des populations et de l’accès aux services sociaux de base.

La communication sur les risques est un aspect à part entière des interventions d’urgence. Il s’agit de l’échange en temps réel d’informations, de conseils et d’avis entre les experts, les responsables communautaires, les décideurs politiques et les populations en situation de risque.... Lors d’une épidémie, d’une pandémie, d’une crise humanitaire ou d’une catastrophe naturelle, une communication sur les risques efficace permet aux populations les plus exposées de comprendre les comportements à adopter pour se protéger. Ainsi, les autorités et les experts peuvent être à l’écoute des inquiétudes et des besoins, chercher à y répondre et faire en sorte que leurs conseils soient pertinents, fiables et recevables

Ce document a été élaboré par le Programme des urgences sanitaires de l'Organisation mondiale de la santé comme ressource pour la réponse à la flambée du virus d'Ebola (Ebola) en République démocratique du Congo en mai 2018.
Ce document est destiné à guider le travail de communication d...es risques et d'engagement communautaire (CREC) qui est essentiel pour stopper la flambée et prévenir son amplification. Contrairement à d'autres domaines d'intervention, la CREC fait largement appel aux bénévoles, au personnel de première ligne et aux personnes qui n'ont pas reçu de formation préalable dans ce domaine. En tant que tel, le document fournit des informations de base, couvre les aspects socio-économiques et culturels (qui sont connus au moment de la publication), et fournit les derniers conseils et approches fondés sur des données probantes basés sur les Directives de l'OMS : Communiquer les risques dans les situations d'urgence en santé publique, 2018.
