Sous ce rapport, le DPPD santé 2014 – 2016, premier du genre, va poursuivre les objectifs suivants : (i) Réduire le fardeau de la morbidité et de la mortalité maternelles et infanto juvéniles

; (ii) Accroître les performances du secteur en matière de prévention et de lutte contre la maladie ; (iii) Renforcer durablement le système de santé ; (iv) Améliorer la gouvernance du secteur de la santé et (v) Améliorer les conditions socio-économiques des groupes vulnérables. Après avoir décliné la place du secteur dans l’économie nationale, l’articulation des stratégies sectorielles avec les politiques nationales et la mission du secteur, le document se présente comme suit : le premier chapitre dresse les orientations stratégiques du secteur avec un diagnostic, les résultats de développement du secteur et une définition des Objectifs stratégiques. Au deuxième chapitre la programmation opérationnelle à moyen terme sera définie avec une présentation des Programmes et la budgétisation à moyen terme. évoluer. Des données précises et opportunes sur la mortalité sont essentielles pour identifier les tendances et détecter les menaces émergentes pour la santé, évaluer l'impact des interventions et orienter les décisions politiques fondées sur des données probantes.
Ce cadre décrit une approche holistique pour renforcer les systèmes de surveillance de routine de la mortalité, en tenant compte des facteurs contextuels uniques et des défis auxquels sont confrontés les pays africains. Il souligne l'importance d'établir des mécanismes de collecte de données efficaces, d'améliorer la qualité et l'exhaustivité des données et de promouvoir le partage des données et la collaboration entre les parties prenantes.
De plus, le cadre reconnaît le rôle central de la technologie dans l'intégration des données provenant de sources de données fragmentées sur la mortalité. Il met en évidence le potentiel des méthodes innovantes de capture de données, des analyses avancées et des systèmes de notification en temps réel pour améliorer la précision, l'efficacité et l'actualité des données sur la mortalité.
Le cadre continental de surveillance de la mortalité s'aligne sur la mission et l'objectif stratégique d'Africa CDC en servant d'élément fondamental dans le renforcement des systèmes de santé publique, l'amélioration des capacités et des capacités de surveillance des maladies, l'élaboration de politiques et d'interventions fondées sur des données probantes et la promotion de la collaboration et de la coordination entre les pays africains pour relever les défis sanitaires et améliorer les résultats sanitaires sur le continent.

In 2022, a total of 6,131 confirmed malaria cases were reported across the EU/EEA. Of these, 5,375 had a known importation status and nearly all (99.8%) were travel-related. and. A distinct seasonal peak was observed from July to September, reflecting travel to malaria-endemic regions. Notification rates were higher among men than women, with a male-to-female ratio of 2:1. France reported the highest number of cases, followed by Germany, Spain, Italy and Belgium. After dropping sharply in 2020 due to travel restrictions imposed during the pandemic, overall notification rates increased again in 2021 and 2022, reaching 0.8 cases per 100,000 people. These findings emphasise that malaria in Europe is predominantly an imported disease closely linked to international travel, with sporadic local transmission being rare.

outbreaks to date have originated in Africa. MVD is not an airborne disease and is considered not to be
contagious before symptoms appear. Direct contact with the blood and other body fluids of infected people
and animals or indirect contact with contaminated surfaces and materials like clothing, bedding and medical
equipment is required for transmission. The risk of infection is minimised when proper infection prevention and
control precautions are strictly followed. There is no approved treatment or vaccine for MVD; however, several
pharmaceuticals and candidate MVD vaccines are under investigation.

ssion. These plans carry presumptive weight and are increasingly being operationalized at the national, regional and international level with the support of the World Health Organization (WHO). The conventional focus of pandemic preparedness for EIDs of zoonotic origin has been on public health and human welfare. However, thisfocus on human populations has resulted in strategically important disciplinary silos. As the risks of zoonotic diseases have implications that reach across many domains outside traditional public health, including anthropological, environmental, and veterinary fora, a more inclusive ecological perspective is paramount for an effective response to future outbreaks.

nsmission in Latin American settings where the disease is endemic, congenital CD (cCD) remains a significant challenge. In countries where the disease is not endemic, vertical transmission plays a key role in CD expansion and is the main focus of its control. Although several health organizations provide general protocols for cCD control, its management in each geopolitical region depends on local authorities, which has resulted in a multitude of approaches. The aims of this review are to (i) describe the current global situation in CD management, with emphasis on congenital infection, and (ii) summarize the spectrum of available strategies, both official and unofficial, for cCD prevention and control in countries of endemicity and nonendemicity. From an economic point of view, the early detection and treatment of cCD are cost-effective. However, in countries where the disease is not endemic, national health policies for cCD control are nonexistent, and official regional protocols are scarce and restricted to Europe. Countries of endemicity have more protocols in place, but the implementation of diagnostic methods is hampered by economic constraints. Moreover, most protocols in both countries where the disease is endemic and those where it is not endemic have yet to incorporate recently developed technologies. The wide methodological diversity in cCD diagnostic algorithms reflects the lack of a consensus. This review may represent a first step toward the development of a common strategy, which will require the collaboration of health organizations, governments, and experts in the field.

Les résultats montrent que l’absence de connaissances adéquates à propos du TPI n’a pas empêché son appropriation par les communautés, dans la mesure où les perceptions lui accordent une valeur pratique et l’intègrent dans les besoins ressentis. C’est pourquoi les enfants ont reçu, dans la grande majorité, les médicaments administrés. Certains comportements en décalage s’expliquent plus par des contraintes, des insuffisances du système de santé et de vaccination que par un refus. Chez les prestataires de soins, l’information a été plus disponible du côté les infirmiers étatiques. Cependant, les processus de détournement et les attitudes d’indifférence étaient plus visibles chez ces derniers.
