Die KPTBS ist neben den Symptomen der PTBS durch Affektregulationsstörungen, negative Selbstwahrnehmung und Beziehungsstörungen gekennzeichnet. Aktuelle empirische Studien lieferten Hinweise für die Validität dieser Diagnose.
