General description: El OE1 t...oma en cuenta las dimensiones ambientales de las actividades de desarrollo a través de los principios de prevención y precaución, consumo responsable: HI ejecuta sus proyectos con un modo operacional sencillo, sólo tiene un vehículo para el programa (una oficina nacional y la oficina regional) y se preocupa por su impacto sobre el medio ambiente. Como parte de su estrategia plurianual 2015-2019, un diagnóstico y plan de acción sobre el medio ambiente serán actualizados. El proyecto se alinea también en el Plan Sectorial de Desarrollo de Bolivia (2010-2020) donde prevalece un enfoque transversal medio ambiente, particularmente en lo que se refiere al cambio climático. Constituyendo un desafío social importante para el país y siendo factor condicionante de la salud, se priorizara este enfoque. Está previsto trabajar conjuntamente con las autoridades departamentales y municipales hacia una participación en la protección del medio ambiente a través de un apoyo a las acciones concretas de las poblaciones. --

Background: Au cours des deux ...dernières années, la crise humanitaire en RDC s'est fortement aggravée, affectant un pays déjà éprouvé par des décennies de crise. Tant dans des régions auparavant relativement stables (« Grand Kasaï » et Tanganyika) que dans des régions déchirées en permanence par des conflits (Kivus et Ituri), des violences ont éclaté ou repris de plus belle, avec pour conséquence un nombre record de personnes déplacées (4,5 millions). La RDC comptabilise le plus grand nombre de déplacés d'Afrique, et les perspectives sont sombres : si la situation politique et sécuritaire ne se stabilise pas, on estime que près de 7 millions de personnes seront déplacées en 2018, un chiffre alarmant pour la région dans son ensemble. Le plan de réponse humanitaire RDC 2018 (DRC HRP), destiné à venir en aide à plus de 10 millions de Congolais, évalue les besoins financiers à 1,68 milliard de dollars US (doublement par rapport à 2017). Les plus grands besoins humanitaires se situent dans le domaine de la sécurité alimentaire, la protection, l'hygiène, l'eau, l'enseignement, les soins de santé et le logement. Le pays fait face à la plus grande épidémie de choléra de son histoire, et il est question d'une flambée du virus de la polio. 7,7 millions de personnes sont affectées par l'insécurité alimentaire. L'année 2017 a prouvé que la motivation internationale pour mobiliser des fonds en faveur de la RDC est très basse. Avec le deuxième niveau de financement le plus bas en 10 ans (57 % du RHP 2017 en RDC), les moyens disponibles demeurent largement insuffisants. Les besoins financiers ayant doublé, le risque est grand que les moyens restent insuffisants en 2018. -- General purpose: (i)assister les victimes de conflits armés et d'autres situations de violence ; (ii)assurer les soins aux blessés par armes et aux invalides ; (iii)promouvoir le respect du Droit International Humanitaire (DIH) et du droit international des droits de l'homme ; (iv)rendre visite aux détenus ; (v)rétablir les liens familiaux ; (vi)soutenir la Société Nationale Croix-Rouge de la RDC dans l'amélioration de sa capacité de réponse ; -- Specific purpose: -renforcer sa capacité à répondre aux situations d'urgence de manière agile, appropriée et en temps opportun, en vue d'aider les personnes déplacées et autres personnes vulnérables à répondre à leurs besoins urgents, y compris la nourriture et l'eau ;-encourager et/ou maintenir le dialogue avec tous les porteurs d'armes, afin de les inciter à protéger les civils contre les abus, faciliter l'accès aux services de santé, en particulier dans les zones reculées, et assurer l'accès sans restriction du CICR aux personnes touchées par les conflits armés ou d'autres situations de violence ;-aider les personnes à renforcer leur résilience face aux effets de la violence et des conflits en les aidant à obtenir et/ou à maintenir leur accès aux services essentiels, leur capacité à poursuivre leurs moyens de subsistance et à rester en contact avec

General description: Tout le ...programme commun s'inscrit dans une approche basée sur les droits. C'est le renforcement de l'exercice de ces droits fondamentaux qui permettra à la population d'être acteur de son bien-être. L'objectif principal visé par l'OS1 pour la RDC au niveau de la santé est le bien entendu le droit à la santé, qui est inscrit dans la constitution de la RDC, ainsi que le droit universel aux soins primaires de santé de qualité. En corolaire à ce droit, le programme vise également le droit à la couverture sanitaire universelle par uneaction synergique au niveau de mode financement de l'acces aux soins. Au niveau de l'éducation, le programme joue sur le droit à l'éducation et le droit à la non-discrimination (la constitution de la RDC confirme le principe de l'égalité entre les hommes et les femmes). Enfin, une attention particulière aux droits des femmes sous-tend tout cet objectif spécifique. --

Background: Le CICR est une or...ganisation neutre, impartiale et indépendante. Sa mission humanitaire consiste essentiellement à protéger la vie et la dignité des victimes de conflits armés et d'autres formes de violence, ainsi qu'à leur porter assistance. De par sa neutralité, le CICR réussit à atteindre des populations généralement non- ou peu assistées par les Nations Unies (qui ne bénéficient pas des mêmes accès).A l'origine des Conventions de Genève de 1949, le CICR agit en gardien du droit international humanitaire (DIH) et des principes humanitaires qui y sont consacrés. Dans un monde où le personnel humanitaire devient la cible d'attaques, où le respect des principes s'amoindrit de jour en jour et où le DIH est constamment bafoué, le CICR apparait comme un acteur clé sur la scène humanitaire internationale pour permettre aux acteurs humanitaires d'accomplir leur mission et promouvoir le respect du DIH. De par son poids, son histoire et son importance, le CICR est un partenaire incontournable de la Belgique dont la stratégie en matière d'aide humanitaire résulte notamment d'une approche principielle basée sur le droit humanitaire.Les correspondances du travail du CICR avec les priorités belges sont nombreuses :-la Belgique est l'un des Etats parties aux Conventions de Genève et aux Protocoles additionnels ,-la Belgique a adopté les principes du Good Humanitarian Donorship (GHD) qui reconnaissent le rôle spécifique et primordial du CICR dans l'action humanitaire ,-enfin, la Belgique a adhéré au « Consensus européen sur l'aide humanitaire » adopté par l'Union Européenne en décembre 2007. Celui-ci reconnaît le rôle de premier plan joué par le CICR dans des situations de conflits.Les financements belges effectués au fil des ans nous ont permis d'être membre du DSG du CICR (dont le ticket d'entrée s'élève à 10.000.000 CHF). La Belgique a effectué une contribution de 25.451.632 EUR en 2016 et de 23.808.720 EUR en 2017. La participation au DSG est un objectif stratégique pour la Belgique et est particulièrement cruciale dans le cas du CICR puisque, à la différence des organisations du système des Nations Unies qui possèdent des organes de gestion et de décision impliquant les Etats membres, le DSG est la seule structure offrant la possibilité d'avoir une certaine influence au sein du CICR, et d'ainsi valoriser notre financement en dépassant le statut du donateur muet. - General Purpose: Le CICR fournit protection et assistance aux victimes civiles et militaires des conflits armés et d'autres situations de violence. - Specific Purpose : (i)assister les victimes des conflits et autres situations de violence , (ii)assurer les soins aux blessés par armes et aux invalides , (iii)promouvoir le respect du Droit International Humanitaire (DIH), (iv)rendre visite aux détenus , (v)rétablir les liens familiaux , (vi)soutenir les sociétés nationales dans l'amélioration de leur capacité de réponse. - Results: Le CICR a défini 5 grandes orientations stratégiq

General description: Le CICR ...a un statut d'organisme privé à caractère non-gouvernemental, régi par le code civil suisse, et dispose d'une personnalité juridique. Son statut particulier sur le plan international résulte d'accords de siège signés avec les différentes autorités nationales des pays dans lesquels il travaille, qui lui octroient des privilèges et immunités garantissant la neutralité et l'indépendance de son action.Le CICR a pour mandat de fournir protection et assistance aux victimes civiles et militaires des conflits armés et de la violence interne, en agissant de manière strictement neutre et indépendante. Ses actions visent à développer et promouvoir le Droit International Humanitaire (DIH), ainsi que veiller à sa mise en œuvre, protéger les populations civiles et les personnes privées de liberté, rétablir les liens familiaux et assister les victimes de conflits (aide d'urgence, sécurité économique, eau et habitat, services de santé,…). General description: FOS steu...nt bananenarbeidersvakbond ASTAC, stichtingen DONUM en LUNA en NGO SURKUNA om bij te dragen tot het verbeteren en afdwingen van arbeidsrechten en het recht op sociale bescherming, met inbegrip van het recht op gezondheid, voor de bananenarbeid(st)ers, volksvrouwen en jongeren uit de hoofdstad, en de hele Ecuadoraanse bevolking. ASTAC vertegenwoordigt een kwetsbare rurale bevolkingsgroep die werkzaam is in een sector waar informele arbeid, onderaanneming, arbeidsflexibilisering en genderdiscriminatie prominent aanwezig zijn en die een wisselwerking heeft met het leefmilieu. Fundación DONUM levert een belangrijke bijdrage aan het maatschappelijk debat over gezondheidswetgeving en –beleid en is een katalysator voor beleidsbeïnvloeding vanuit het Platform voor Gezondheid en Leven dat organisaties uit de civiele maatschappij groepeert die werken aan het recht op gezondheid. SURKUNA en LUNA leiden jongeren en volksvrouwen op tot promoteron van sexuele en reproductieve rechten en eisen van en werken met lokale autoriteiten aan het verbeteren van de toegang tot en kwaliteit van sexuele en reproductieve gezondheidszorg. --

General description: Het prog...ramma is gericht op pijler 2 (arbeidsrechten) en pijler 3 (sociale bescherming) van het thema waardig werk. De interventiestrategie in het kader van pijler 2 is gefocust op 2 specifieke sectoren (de textiel- en de suikersector) waarin grote groepen arbeid(st)ers nog steeds te maken hebben met grote problemen rond arbeidsrechten. Beide sectoren vervullen bovendien een sleutelrol binnen de economie en binnen de nationale dialoog rond arbeidsrechten in het land. Partnerorganisaties zijn platformen van vakbondsorganisaties en eventuele ondersteunde NGO's binnen de sectoren, die hun acties coördineren om tot gezamenlijke versterking van de syndicale organisatie te komen. De uitbreiding van de organisatie en haar capaciteiten vertaalt zich in haar effectieve deelname aan sociale dialoog op verschillende niveau's, ter verdediging en uitbreiding van strategische arbeidsrechten voor de doelgroepen. De interventiestrategie voor pijler 3 betreft enerzijds een organisationele versterking van het Nationaal Gezondheidsforum (FNS) door middel van territoriale uitbreiding van gezondheidsstructuren op verschillende niveaus door twee van haar integranten, AMSATI en ACCPS en vorming en sensibilisering van de bevolking rond gezondheidsthema's. Anderzijds doet het FNS actief aan beleidsbeïnvloeding in functie van een rechtvaardige gezondheids- en fiscale hervorming en voert zij sociale controle acties als uitdrukking van sociale participatie voor het recht op gezondheid. --

De interventiestrategie in het kader van pijler 2 is gefocust op 2 specifieke sectoren (de textiel- en de voedingssector), waarin grote groepen arbeid(st)ers, nog steeds te maken hebben met grote problemen rond arbeidsrechten. Beide sectoren vervullen bovendien een sleutelrol binnen de economie en binnen de nationale dialoog rond arbeidsrechten in het land. Partnerorganisaties zijn platformen van vakbondsorganisaties binnen de sectoren en nationale koepels, die complementair worden ondersteund om hun benodigde capaciteiten te ontwikkelen, om te komen tot effectieve sociale dialoog op verschillende niveau's ter verdediging en uitbreiding van strategische arbeidsrechten voor de doelgroepen. De interventiestrategie rond pijler 3 is gefocust op versterking van sociale controle, zowel op territoriaal als op nationaal niveau. Via de transformatie van een regionaal naar een nationaal platform wil de Burgeralliantie voor Gezondheid in Honduras (ALCISAHO) een nationale referentie worden, zowel voor de bevolking als voor de publieke autoriteiten met betrekking tot het recht op gezondheid. Om dit te bereiken zal het platform werken aan de versterking van haar structuur met de uitbreiding van geallieerde organisaties enerzijds en van vaardigheden rond specifieke thema's anderzijds. Via beleidsbeïnvloedingsacties en sociale controle zal ze waken over te toepassing en implementatie van maatregelen die de kwaliteit van de gezondheidsdiensten moet verbeteren. --

General description: Iraq is ...confronting multiple overlapping crises, with more than 3 million persons internally displaced since 2014, an additional one million IDPs displaced in 2006-2007, and almost 240,000 Syrian refugees. Furthermore, over 368,000 individuals are currently displaced as a result of the Mosul offensive which started on 17 October 2016. Cumulatively, more than 473,000 individuals have been displaced from Mosul and surrounding areas since 17 October 2016, including 114,030 who have returned to their homes (data according to International Organisation for migration Displacement Tracking Matrix). Overall, humanitarian needs across Iraq are immense. Millions of displaced families are in need of assistance to meet their most urgent needs and to ensure their survival. As economic conditions are worsening, countless IDPs are unable to access livelihoods opportunities and face depleted resources and savings, compounded by the increasing cost of living across Iraq. Families are forced to go into debt to meet their basic needs. Ongoing military operations to retake Mosul and subsequent re-building of retaken areas require significant resources further straining public services. In addition, from a humanitarian response perspective, limited donor resources limit humanitarian actors' capacity to respond to IDP needs. As part of the inter-agency IDP coordination structure, in addition to leading the Protection, Camp Coordination and Camp Management, and Shelter/NFI clusters, UNHCR co-chairs the Cash Working Group for Iraq. In this respect, UNHCR plays a strategic, technical and advisory role in the development and implementation of cash assistance projects throughout Iraq, facilitating strategic planning with communities, donors and local authorities. UNHCR's cash assistance activities complement the activities undertaken by the Cash Consortium of Iraq (CCI) and other cash actors, contributing to more coordinated and comprehensive responses, while playing a catalytic role in promoting a linkage of cash interventions with social protection schemes. -- General purpose : This Program will support vulnerable Syrian Refugee families in Lebanon and Jordan as well as vulnerable IDP families through Cash Based Interventions (CBI). -- Specific purpose : Population has sufficient basic and domestic items --

General description: There ar...e 659,089 Syrians registered with UNHCR in Jordan as of 30 April 2017. While 21 per cent of Syrians are registered in the camps, the vast majority (nearly 518,000 persons) live in urban areas. Despite access to the labour market improving over the past year, the overwhelming majority of out-of-camp refugees (93%) remain below the national poverty line of JOD 68 per capita per month. This results in considerable hardship in meeting daily needs and accessing adequate shelter, food, healthcare and education. Jordan also hosts over 74,000 refugees of other nationalities, including from Iraq, Yemen and Sudan. According to a recent UNHCR study, Jordan hosts the second largest number of refugees relative to the size of its population with 89 refugees for every 1,000 inhabitants. General description: Over 1 m...illion Syrian refugees2 have fled to Lebanon since 2011, making it one of the frontlines of the response in the region and the recipient of the highest number of refugees per capita in the world. In addition, Lebanon hosts almost 22,000 refugees of other nationalities, including from Iraq, Sudan and Ethiopia. Syrian refugees in Lebanon live in over 2,125 localities across the country and have access to the existing public system such as health and education services. Although inclusion in the local communities aids social cohesion, the public system within Lebanon, which was already fragile before the crisis, has been overstretched due to the increasing demand. Preserving the well-being and dignity of the refugees is a challenge, and vulnerabilities to exploitation and other protection risks are rising. The annual Vulnerability Assessment of Syrian Refugees (VASyR) of 20163 shows that 71 per cent of the Syrian refugees live below the national poverty line (USD 3.84 per person/per day), which is a significant increase from the 49 per cent in 2014. Moreover, more than half of refugee families (53 per cent) are living below the extreme poverty line (USD 2.9 per person/per day). A combination of factors, including the lack of legal residency, restrictions on employment opportunities, reductions in assistance and depletion of savings continued to prevent refugees from graduating from poverty. Increasing indebtedness, including to Lebanese creditors, is of concern as this may lead to worsening relations between communities and an increase risk of exploitation. The vast majority of refugee families (90 per cent) had borrowed money in the previous three months before partaking in the VASyR. The average amount of debt increased to USD 857per household. The increasing indebtedness and difficulties to provide for basic needs compels refugees to resort to negative coping strategies. The 2016 VASyR shows that families are adopting more severe coping strategies as the percentage of refugees adopting crisis and emergency coping strategies4 has increased since 2014, reaching 74 per cent of the refugeepopulation in 2016. A mere 3 per cent of surveyed refugees did not apply any coping strategy in 2016. While UNHCR and partners continue to advocate with the Lebanese Government to improve refugees' access to livelihoods and run small-scale livelihoods programmes within the limitations acceptable to the Government, this has so far not yet been possible. Consequently, aid dependency currently remains high for large parts of the refugee population. General description: Le Liban... accueille plus de 1,5 million de réfugiés syriens et palestiniens, ce qui représente 30% de la population libanaise. C'est la plus forte concentration de réfugiés par habitant dans le monde. En outre, 76% des réfugiés syriens vivent dans la pauvreté car les camps de réfugiés officiels ne sont pas autorisés par le gouvernement. Les réfugiés vivent souvent dans des conditions difficiles, dans des installations informelles ou des maisons privées. Un nombre croissant de réfugiés ne possèdent pas de papiers officiels, sont limités dans leur liberté de mouvement et ont un accès restreint aux services de base, aux soins de santé et à l'éducation. Le travail des enfants demeure une préoccupation majeure (4,8% des enfants syriens réfugiés âgés de 5 à 17 ans travaillent). L'afflux important de réfugiés syriens a eu un impact considérable sur la croissance sociale et économique du Liban, aggravant ainsi la pauvreté et les besoins humanitaires de ses citoyens et exacerbant les contraintes de développement préexistantes dans le pays et affectant toutes les communautés. L'afflux important de réfugiés a également entraîné une augmentation de la pression démographique confessionnelle, mal équilibrée, dans les zones pauvres, une dégradation de la sécurité et une détérioration de la vie des Syriens déplacés eux-mêmes. 70% des réfugiés syriens au Liban n'ont pas de permis de séjour légal et risquent donc d'être arrêtés. La tension entre les réfugiés et la population locale s'intensifie également considérablement. La violence et l'insécurité le long de la frontière libano-syrienne, en particulier dans le gouvernorat du Akkar et dans le nord de la Bekaa, rendent l'accès humanitaire et la prestation de l'aide humanitaire très difficile. -- General purpose : Améliorer les conditions de vie et la résilience des populations vulnérables à Gaza ainsi que des réfugiés syriens et des communautés d'accueil au Liban, tout en renforçant la visibilité de ces crises aux niveaux national et international. -- Specific purpose : Améliorer la sécurité alimentaire, les moyens de subsistance et le statut de protection des communautés vulnérables de Gaza et du Liban afin qu'elles soient plus en mesure de faire face aux chocs socio-économiques, tout en renforçant la visibilité de ces deux crises. --

General description: Le proje...t Prodezem vise à développer la productivité de l'élevage dans le cercle de Nara notamment par la sélection et la diffusion de géniteurs de qualité de race zébu Maure. Le montant total de l'intervention est de 8M euros pour 5 ans -- General purpose : Contribuer à l'amélioration des revenus des éleveurs par la valorisation du Zébu Maure au Mali -- Specific purpose : Améliorer la productivité des systèmes d'élevage traditionnels en se basant sur la valorisation des potentialités laitières du Zébu Maure dans le cercle de Nara --Results: Le projet s'est investi dans la mise en place des conditions favorables à l'élevage qui constituent le socle pour une augmentation des productions animales. Les plus remarquables sont l'amélioration de l'accès aux ressources pastorales, de la disponibilité d'aliments bétail pour juguler les effets néfastes de la période de soudure et de la couverture sanitaire du bétail. Les appuis aux services d'encadrement et à l'organisation des bénéficiaires participent à garantir une bonne gestion des infrastructures communautaires de l'élevage. l'élevage étant communément considéré comme l'apanage des familles nanties, alors les appuis aux ménages vulnérables se révèlent une action d'équité sociale.

General description: The prog...ramme in Mozambique focusses on ILO pillars 2 and 3 of Decent Work, i.e. on improving labour rights and the access thereto, and the right to social protection and health for the beneficiaries and members of our partners' organisations. The beneficiaries are men and women in precarious living and working conditions, mainly agricultural workers, domestic workers and small-scale farmers who try to organize themselves to change their circumstances and to demand their rights, with a specific focus on women and youth. Our partners provide education and information on rights, on organizing and on the economic and environmental context; they build the confidence and empower their members/beneficiaries, specifically women, and stimulate them to unite in order to demand their rights. In addition to mobilizing communities and workers, our Mozambican partners will try to have an impact on decision making processes and the drafting, amending and enforcing of new and existing laws. They will do so through participating in social dialogue and collective bargaining platforms. They will support active community participation and awareness and they will try to make voices of precarious workers and communities heard in society. --

General description: Het prog...ramma is gericht op pijler 2 (arbeidsrechten) en pijler 3 (sociale bescherming) van Waardig Werk zoals uiteengezet in de GSK WW. De interventiestrategie in het kader van pijler 2 is gefocust op 2 specifieke sectoren (de textielsector en de agroindustrie), waarin grote groepen arbeid(st)ers, nog steeds te maken hebben met grote problemen rond arbeidsrechten. Beide sectoren vervullen bovendien een sleutelrol binnen de economie en binnen de nationale dialoog rond arbeidsrechten in het land. Partnerorganisaties zijn vakbonden of platformen van vakbondsorganisaties binnen de sectoren, die worden ondersteund om een gezamenlijke vakbondsstrategie en de benodigde organisatiecapaciteiten te ontwikkelen, om te komen tot effectieve sociale dialoog op verschillende niveau's, ter verdediging en uitbreiding van strategische arbeidsrechten voor de doelgroepen. De interventiestrategie rond pijler 3 is gefocust op het versterken van de territoriale basis van sociale organisaties via de activering en opleiding van de leden van gezondheidsnetwerken in de gemeenschappen rond SRRG enerzijds en een verbetering in de kwaliteit van de aangeboden dienstverlening in gezondheidsinstanties anderzijds. Via een systeem van sociale controle en een duidelijke overleg- en inspraakstructuur tussen gezondheidspersoneel en gemeenschappen kan deze evolutie worden opgevolgd en opgenomen door het Ministerie van Gezondheid om via beleidsvoorstellen deze kwaliteitsverbetering te bestendigen. --

General description: 3.1Thém...atique prioritaire: lutte contre la malnutrition:Les causes de l'insécurité alimentaire dans les zone d'intervention du programme sont multiples et caractéristiques des zones sahéliennes et peuvent être énumérées comme suit :1.Une dégradation de la base productive dans le secteur agro-pastoral (dégénérescence des semences, manque d'animaux reproducteurs de qualité et dégradation des sols liée au surpâturage, à la disparition des jachères, à la très faible utilisation de fumures et d'engrais minéraux). Il en résulte une baisse des rendements du secteur agro-pastoral ;2.Des opportunités économiques limitées entrainant un exode de la main d'œuvre ;3.Des sécheresses chroniques dont la fréquence a augmenté ces dernières années et une forte sensibilité aux stress agro-écologiques résultant du changement climatique. La dégradation du couvert en espèces ligneuses accentue la désertification et la dégradation des sols ;4.Des inondations de forte intensité qui endommagent les cultures ;5.Des attaques parasitaires récurrentes ;6.Une croissance démographique élevée augmentant la pression sur des ressources déjà maigres et les conflits pour l'accès aux terres et à l'eau entre agriculteurs et éleveurs.7. L'instabilité politique régionale entraînant des mouvements de population en provenance du Nigéria, du Mali et de Libye et une réduction des revenus liée au retour des migrants qui travaillaient en Lybie et en Algérie../.. -- General purpose : Contribuer au renforcement de la sécurité alimentaire, nutritionnelle et sanitaire des communautés dans les communes de Gouré et Kellé (département de Gouré, région de Zinder). -- Specific purpose : Répondre aux besoins les plus urgents de la population de 15 villages de Gouré et Kellé en termes d'accès à l'alimentation et à la santé. --Results: R1.1 : A la date du 31 Octobre 2017, un total de 485 ménages ont bénéficié de l'activité. Il est attendu que l'objectif soit atteint dans les 9 prochains mois lorsque les rotations et sevrages auront eu lieu.R1.2 : 230 femmes vulnérables génèrent des revenus grâce à l'embouche de béliers.R1.3 : 39,75% des ménages des villages bénéficiaires produisent des légumes pour leur propre consommation et pour générer des revenus.R1.4 : 9 villages disposent d'une banque de céréale fonctionnelle.R2.1 : 78% des ménages au sein des villages ciblés sont capables de citer 5 des 7 Actions Essentielles en Nutrition.R2.2 : Les populations de 7 villages ciblés ont accès à l'eau potable via un point d'eau géré durablement par la communauté.R2.3 :75% des ménages sont capables de citer au moins une nouvelle mesure qu'ils ont mise en œuvre pour améliorer l'hygiène au sein de leur ménage.R2.3 : Les élèves de 13 écoles sont sensibilisés aux bonnes pratiques liées à l'hygiène.R3.1 : + de 400 hectares de terres ont été récupérés.R3.2 : L'utilisation de bois de chauffage a diminué de 33%.

General description: Dans ce ...projet proposé pour un financement belge, UNICEF propose l'utilisation de l'outil innovant du U-Report. Le U-Report est un outil de collecte de données en temps réel (via une messagerie SMS) et un outil de communication (via les médias sociaux). En 2017, le U-Report a été utilisé lors de la crise de la fièvre de Lassa au travers de sondages et a permis la diffusion d'informations (causes, symptômes, traitement, prévention) auprès de 2 millions de U-Reporters situés dans des zones touchées ou non encore touchées par la fièvre. En fonction des réponses reçues par les U-Reporters, UNICEF a adapté sa réponse aux besoins apparus. Toute communication mobile établie par UNICEF lui permettra d'envoyer des alertes et des informations cruciales pour la survie du bénéficiaire (information life-saving). La perspective de recevoir des feedbacks d'un grand nombre de bénéficiaires au moyen de SMS, améliore la responsabilisation d'UNICEF, tout en gardant la population informée en temps réel.UNICEF souhaite dès lors déployer ce mécanisme de U-Report dans le nord-est du Nigéria – plus précisément les Etats de Adamawa, Yobe et Borno – afin de recevoir des informations en temps réel de la part des bénéficiaires, permettant ainsi à UNICEF de répondre à leurs préoccupations, de diffuser des informations et de partager le feedback des populations affectées (activités du projet listées au point suivant).Le U-Report passera dès lors à une étape supérieure à son utilisation ponctuelle pour passer à une utilisation systématique et deviendra le U-Report 24/7 qui sera la première plateforme U-Report dédiée exclusivement au soutien de la réponse d'urgence d'UNICEF.Il sera disponible et accessible jours et nuits aux personnes affectées, aux partenaires d'UNICEF et au personnel d'UNICEF, à la fois en tant qu'outil de collecte de données et en tant que ressource pour l'information life-saving. U-Report 24/7 recueillera des données en temps réel, y compris des rapports et des plaintes des citoyens affectés.L'outil U-Report 24/7 sera également utilisé pour envoyer des messages en temps réel aux populations des trois États tout au long du cycle de programmation humanitaire, notamment : 1) évaluation, 2) fournir des informations, 3) solliciter des commentaires, 4) contributions de la jeunesse, 5) responsabilité, 6) meilleures pratiques, 7) formation et renforcement des capacités, 8) améliorer la préparation des populations à risque contre un danger éminent. General description: La entra...da al poder de un nuevo presidente, gobierno y parlamento en Perú a fines de julio 2016, cuyos mandatos casi coincidirán con la duración de este programa de FOS e IFSI, y la firma de varios compromisos entre el presidente Kuczynski y diversas contrapartes de FOS e IFSI, abren una nueva coyuntura política que ofrece posibilidades para las propuestas e incidencia de las contrapartes de FOS e IFSI al poder llevar a un mayor respeto por el derecho a un trabajo decente, y un mejor acceso a la protección social y a la salud (incluyendo la sexual y reproductiva). El programa en Perú fortalecerá varios actores sociales, sindicatos y organizaciones sociales y de mujeres, en la promoción de alternativas políticas, sociales y económicas, que facilitan el acceso a un trabajo decente y a la protección social para los/as trabajadores/as y grupos poblacionales marginalizados. El programa los apoyará en sus procesos de democracia interna, en su incidencia ante las autoridades y la opinión pública, en su comunicación, sensibilización y quejas ante redes nacionales e internacionales. El programa será ejecutado por las contrapartes de FOS e IFSI, en estrecha coordinación y sinergia entre ellas: la Confederación General de Trabajadores del Perú (CGTP) con sus sindicatos afiliados - Federación Nacional de Trabajadoras y Trabajadores del Hogar del Perú (FENTTRAHOP), Federación Nacional de Trabajadoras y Trabajadores del Agua y del Alcantarillado del Perú (FENTAP) y Federación de Trabajadores en Construcción Civil del Perú (FTCCP) – el Foro de la Sociedad Civil en Salud (Foro Salud) y el Centro de Promoción y Defensa de los Derechos Sexuales y Reproductivos (Promsex). --

General description: The prog...ramme in South Africa focusses both on ILO pillar 2 and 3 of decent work, i.e. on improving access to labour rights and the right to social protection and health for the beneficiaries and members of our partners' organisations. The beneficiaries are people in precarious living and working conditions, mainly farm workers, domestic workers and casual/temporary/informal workers that try to organize themselves to change their circumstances and to demand their rights. A specific focus is put on the most vulnerable, e.g. migrant workers, women workers and young workers. Our partners provide education and information on rights, on organizing and on the political and socio-economic context; they build the confidence and empower their members/beneficiaries, specifically women, and stimulate them to unite in order to demand their rights and shift unbalanced power relations in society. In addition to mobilizing communities and workers, our South African partners will also try to have an impact on decision making processes and the drafting, amending and enforcing of new and existing laws. They will do so through participating in social dialogue or advocating for the creation of broad based social dialogue or collective bargaining platforms, accessible to vulnerable groups. They will support active community participation and awareness and they will try to make the voices of precarious workers and communities heard. --

General description: Le confl...it en cours au Soudan du Sud, qui dure depuis quatre ans, continue d'avoir un impact dévastateur sur les citoyens sud-soudanais. Plus de quatre millions de personnes ont dû fuir et sept millions de personnes ont besoin d'aide humanitaire et de protection. La violence généralisée et le déclin économique continu ont également limité le pouvoir d'achat et l'accès aux services de base et de santé. Des recherches récentes montrent que différentes régions du pays font face à une pénurie alimentaire (IPC 4) et même à une famine (IPC 5) depuis la fin de 2017. On estime que plus de 1,1 million d'enfants de moins de cinq ans souffrent de malnutrition aiguë et besoin d'aide pour sauver des vies. Plus de 90% de la population n'a pas accès à l'assainissement et plus de 5,3 millions de personnes ont un besoin urgent de soutien WASH. Une grave insécurité alimentaire est prévue en 2018. General description: Mass dis...placement as a result of inter-communal violence has been prevalent and recur-ring in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) since the so-called African Wars of the 1990s, but has recently flared up again in Ituri and North Kivu Provinces following tribal skirmishes and intensified clashes between armed factions, compounded by elec-tion-year instability. Scores of civilians caught up in the violence are seeking refuge in neighboring countries and in particular Uganda, entering the country via a perilous cross-ing of Lake Albert. It is projected that up to 150,000 refugees from DRC could make their way over to Uganda in 2018. By comparison, only 44,000 Congolese entered Uganda in all of 2017.Ugandan authorities, host communities and aid organisations are struggling to respond adequately to the humanitarian needs caused by this sudden, massive refugee influx. Substantial gaps in the response persist in the production of water, construction of sanita-tion facilities and the promotion of correct hygiene practice. Cholera and other infectious diseases are rife and have led to 47 deaths in just two months. The Uganda Red Cross is by and large the most important local responder on the scene, having mobilized over 120 volunteers who are currently active in both major refugee set-tlements in the promotion of hygiene activities for cholera prevention, and the production of clean water. A disaster preparedness programme funded by the Belgian Government has significantly improved the response capacity at national level, and indeed the same programme is currently bearing its fruits in the DRC as well as the South Sudan refugee response. However, gaps remain in the efficiency and effectiveness of aid being delivered at branch level, in those districts bordering DRC. As a result, vulnerable refugees continue to endure hardship and face unmet needs, particularly in relation to their health, sanitation and livelihoods. -- General purpose : To build the response preparedness and capacity of the URCS to provide humanitarian assistance, and to improve the self-reliance and resilience of Congolese refugees and their host communities in 2 settlements and 7 districts in western Uganda. --

Cette formation sur mesure sera réalisée par des experts en panneaux solaires, provenant des entreprises du secteur. General description: La situa...tion humanitaire dans les territoires palestiniens occupés fait partie des crises les plus longues et les plus anciennes au monde. Elle est principalement imputable à l'occupation en cours par Israël.Ce contexte humanitaire se caractérise par des violations du droit international humanitaire (DIH), des droits de l'homme et de la dignité humaine. La politique israélienne consistant à séparer Gaza du reste des territoires occupés, ainsi que le blocus imposé par Israël à tous les points d'entrée aériens, maritimes et terrestres dans Gaza depuis plus de 11 ans, ont directement exacerbé la situation dans la bande de Gaza, accroissant la vulnérabilité et la dépendance. population sur l'aide humanitaire et les services de base. En plus du blocus en cours, des vagues cycliques de violence et de conflits armés se produisent régulièrement entre les groupes d'opposition armés et les Forces de sécurité israéliennes.La répression des récentes manifestations qui a fait plus d'une centaine de morts est venue renforcer l'état de détresse humanitaire de la bande de Gaza. Cette violence s'est inscrite en sus du blocus qui asphyxie depuis 11 ans le petit territoire et du blocage du processus de réconciliation palestinien. Le refus de l'autorité palestinienne de payer les salaires à plusieurs dizaines de milliers de fonctionnaires les prive, de facto, de leurs moyens de subsistance. Si les besoins urgents sont essentiellement des besoins médicaux, ils ne doivent pas faire oublier le contexte plus général de crise énergétique, de crise financière de l'UNRWA, de mesures punitives décidées par Ramallah. Le plaidoyer humanitaire reste plus que jamais essentiel, dans un contexte où l'aide est souvent politisée. -- General purpose : Améliorer les conditions de vie et la résilience des populations vulnérables à Gaza ainsi que des réfugiés syriens et des communautés d'accueil au Liban, tout en renforçant la visibilité de ces crises aux niveaux national et international. -- Specific purpose : Améliorer la sécurité alimentaire, les moyens de subsistance et le statut de protection des communautés vulnérables de Gaza et du Liban afin qu'elles soient plus en mesure de faire face aux chocs socio-économiques, tout en renforçant la visibilité de ces deux crises. --

Background: By-products from m...ango processing may serve as a source of pro-vitamin A with improved bioavailability after appropriate encapsulation and addition to a food matrix, as well as other bioactive compounds. This proposal is important because (i) it can contribute to the nutritional program for Ecuadorian children, (ii) it promotes the use of local products for food fortification, (iii) it promotes the use of sustainable extraction methods, (iv) it promotes the sustainable use of food by-products (waste does not exist), (v) new encapsulation methods designed for carotenoid release by intestinal microbiota of children will be developed, and (vi) it promotes research of other bioactive compounds in by-products.

Background: Avec un OS intitul...é « la sécurité alimentaire, nutritionnelle et socio-économique des femmes et des hommes est d'améliorée grâce à des actions intégrées autour de l'élevage familial. », l'intervention se veut une déclinaison opérationnelle des cibles stratégiques pour lesquelles VSF-B s'est engagé dans le CSC du Burkina Faso. Fort de son expérience au Burkina Faso et Afrique de l'Ouest en général, VSF-B a démontré que l'élevage familial dispose d'un potentiel important pour améliorer rapidement et durablement les conditions de vie des femmes et des jeunes qui sont les groupes les plus vulnérables. Aussi, par ce projet d'Amélioration de la Résilience par le Petit Elevage (PARPEL), VSF propose d'assurer d'abord un accès équitable et durable aux services notamment de santé animale, d'améliorer le capital productif et la productivité du cheptel des femmes et des jeunes issus des familles pauvres. L'amélioration des différents segments des chaines de valeurs et l'accès au marché permettront à ces groupes vulnérables de profiter pleinement des efforts d'amélioration de la production. Un « groupe focal pour la durabilité », constitué des acteurs locaux, des OP, des privés, des collectivités, des services techniques étatiques et des ONGs initieront des actions auprès des groupes cibles afin que les bénéfices engendrés par le projet puissent se perpétuer après son achèvement. Les synergies et complémentarités avec les ACNG belges et autres partenaires et le suivi continu du contexte permettront une adaptation continue des interventions et une recherche permanente d'un impact durable.
