The final scope of the program will be guided by the quality of the proposals received in each area within the broader objectives and expected outcomes.The objectives of the Program are to build capacity to mitigate infectious disease threats through support for improved infection prevention and control, vector control, and surveillance of infectious diseases, immunisation coverage and treatment-resistance in pathogens and vectors. Through this investment, countries will achieve measurable improvements against indicators in these areas, such as against the International Health Regulations (2005).The total estimated value of this investment is $25.0 million to be expensed over 3 years, starting during the 2019-20 financial year.
