Estimates from the 2001 and 2007 surveys suggest that the level of fertility may have fluctuated between 2000 and 2014, but with no overall trend up or down. Out of a total of 50.3 million persons enumerated in the 2014 Census, there were 2.3 million persons (4.6 per cent of the total population) who reported some degree of difficulty with either one or more of the four functional domains. Of this number, over half a million (representing over 1 per cent of the population as a whole) reported having a lot of difficulty or could not do one or more of the four activities at all (referred to as severe disability). Among those with the severest degree of disability, 55 thousand were blind, 43 thousand were deaf, 99 thousand could not walk at all and 90 thousand did not have the capability to remember or concentrate.
The Census shows that disability is predominantly an old age phenomenon with its prevalence remaining low up to a certain age, after which rates increase substantially. more

This is bound to affect the fundamental prerequisites for maintaining good health: clean air and water, sufficient food and adequate housing. The planet will warm up gradually, but the consequences of the extreme weather conditions such as frequent
storms, floods, droughts and heat-waves will have sudden onset and acute repercussions. It is widely accepted that climate change will have an impact on the spread of infectious diseases in Europe, which is likely to bring about new public health risks in the majority of cases. Transmission of infectious diseases depends on a number of factors, including climate and environmental elements. Foodborne and waterborne diseases, for instance, are associated with high temperatures. Disease-transmitting vectors (e.g. mosquitoes, sandflies and ticks) are highly sensitive to climate conditions, including temperature and humidity; their geographical distribution will widen as climate conditions change, potentially allowing them to spread into regions where they are not currently able to live.
The primary purpose of this manual on climate change and infectious diseases is to raise the awareness and the level of knowledge of health workers at national, regional and local levels in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia on the health risks associated with climate change and infectious diseases. This manual was devel-

Population and Housing Census. A poverty map is simply a map that shows the incidence of poverty in different areas of the country. It allows the viewer to appreciate, at a glance, the geographic dimensions of poverty. Apart from their intrinsic interest, poverty maps may be used to help guide the allocation of resources across local agencies or governmental units, in an effort to better target efforts to reach the poor by pinpointing the small areas of most need.
In 2015, the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR) published the Rwanda Poverty Profile Report which provided a detailed portrait of the extent and nature of poverty in the country, while in 2016 a Poverty Trends Analysis Report which complements the Profile study by looking at the trends in poverty between 2010/11 and 2013/14 was also published. Both reports were based on information collected by an integrated household living conditions survey (EICV4) undertaken between October 2013 and September 2014.
