In low-and middle-income countries, more than 75% of people with mental disorders receive no treatment at all for their disorder. WHO reported a 25% increase in depression and anxiety alone during the pandemic. The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development estimates depression and anxiety cost the global economy US $1 trillion dollars a year.
