The war has not only triggered the largest movement of refugees in Europe since the end of the Second World War. Its manifold effects can be seen worldwide: forexample, consumer prices have risen and, in view of blocked grain exports of wheat, barley, and maize, food security in Africa is at risk. This issue brief summarizes the impact the conflict has and had on global food security.
