Ethiopian Livelihoods and Resilience Program (ELRP) PSNP 4
Short Description
ETHIOPIAN LIVELIHOODS AND RESILIENCE PROGRAM (ELRP) PSNP 4
Long Description
FFP is funding a USAID Implementing Partner to reach over 240,000 people with public works activities that build communal assets and reduce food insecurity risks over time, as well as through investments in human capacity, such as technical training and livelihood support. The Implementing Partner is working closely with communities and in partnership with local governments to expand livelihood opportunities, address priority health and nutrition concerns, and create the foundation for households to graduate from the Government of Ethiopia-led Productive Safety Net Program (PSNP). The DFSA includes a pilot of mobile-based cash transfers to 74,000 people to generate best practices for the government to run cash transfers in these areas.
