discusses potential options in response, outlining details of their relative returns on investment. An economic burden analysis shows that economic losses from NCDs (direct and indirect costs) comprise 2.3 trillion tenge, equivalent to 4.5% of gross domestic product in 2017. An intervention costing analysis provides an estimate of the funding required to implement a set of policy interventions for prevention and clinical interventions. A cost–benefit analysis compares these implementation costs with the estimated health gains and identifies which policy packages would give the greatest returns on investment. For example, the salt policy package achieved a benefit-to-cost ratio of 118.4 over 15 years, a return of more than 118 tenge for every 1 tenge invested.

tionnaire was designed including the Goldberg Health Questionnaire, the Patient Health
Questionnaire, (PHQ-9), and the Columbia-Suicide Severity Rating Scale among other questions. It was sent to 28,038 healthcare workers.
Results: The questionnaire was answered by 1,934 participants, with a median age of 38 years (74% women). Seventy five percent were professionals, and 48% worked at a hospital. Fifty nine percent of respondents had a risk of having a mental health disorder, and 73% had depressive symptoms. Significant associations were found with sex, workplace, and some of the relevant experiences during the pandemic. Fifty one
percent reported the need for mental health support, and 38% of them received it.
Conclusions: There is a high percentage of health workers with symptoms of psychological distress, depression, and suicidal ideas. The gender approach is essential to understand the important differences found. Many health workers who required mental health care did not seek or received it.

Belastungsstörung (KPTBS) wird als eigenständige Diagnose in das ICD-11 aufgenommen und tritt als Folge von sich wiederholenden oder langandauernden traumatischen Ereignissen auf. Die KPTBS ist neben den Symptomen der PTBS durch Affektregulationsstörungen, negative Selbstwahrnehmung und Beziehungsstörungen gekennzeichnet. Aktuelle empirische Studien lieferten Hinweise für die Validität dieser Diagnose. Die Exposition in sensu mit dem traumatischen Ereignis steht im Mittelpunkt der als erfolgreich evaluierten Psychotherapien der PTBS und der KPTBS. Zur differenziellen Wirkung einzelner traumafokussierter Verfahren bei KPTBS können jedoch noch keine eindeutigen Empfehlungen ausgesprochen werden.

Key findings from the study of 195 countries:
• Out of a possible 100 points, the average GHS Index score across 195 countries was 40.2.
• The majority of high- and middle-income countries do not score above 50.
• Action is urgently needed to improve countries’ readiness for high-consequence infectious disease outbreaks.
