an rights and left devastating marks on societies across the continent. The way in which societies deal with violent pasts has profound implications for the present and the future, as well as their chances of building sustainable peace.
Strengthening education about atrocity crimes, including genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes, is an essential part of addressing violent pasts and preventing future atrocity crimes. Echoing a series of United Nations resolutions on the importance of educational measures for genocide prevention,1 in 2013, the Secretary-General’s annual report Responsibility to protect: State responsibility and prevention included the recommendation: “Education curriculums should include instruction on past violations and on the causes, dynamics and consequences of atrocity crimes” as an important means to promote societal resilience to atrocity crimes.
This recognition is in line with the Education 2030 Agenda and, more specifically, target 4.7 of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 on Education. This target calls on countries to promote education that fosters sustainable development, human rights, gender equality, a culture of peace, global citizenship and an appreciation of cultural diversity.

L’étude démontre la non-toxicité de formulations d’artésunate sur un modèle de muqueuse nasale humaine, bien que la perméation observée reste faible. Des pistes sont proposées pour améliorer cette perméation, notamment par l’optimisation galénique. La thèse inclut également une revue de la pharmacocinétique de l’artésunate et le développement de méthodes de dosage simples et peu coûteuses, adaptées aux laboratoires à ressources limitées. Ce travail s’inscrit dans une démarche de lutte contre le paludisme, notamment en zones rurales où l’accès aux soins reste difficile.

Madagascar a conduit la mission d’évaluation externe conjointe de la mise en œuvre des capacités du Règlement Sanitaire International (2005) du 10 au 14 juillet 2017. ...
Pour disposer de capaci ... tés fonctionnelles et pérennes, le pays devra renforcer encore d’avantage l’ensemble des 19 domaines techniques en mettant en œuvre les recommandations ci-dessous. A cet égard, il est primordial de mettre l’accent sur : i) l’élaboration et l’application de cadres législatifs, propices à l’application du Règlement sanitaire international (2005) et à la gestion des risques de catastrophe ; ii) la coordination multisectorielle dans la mise en œuvre du Règlement sanitaire international (2005) ; iii) le renforcement des capacités du point focal RSI ainsi que sa relation avec tous les secteurs clés dans la prévention, la détection et la riposte ; iv) la rédaction et la mise en œuvre des procédures requises en tenant compte de l’approche englobant l’ensemble des menaces ; et v) l’analyse et la cartographie des risques d’épidémies et de catastrophes, en utilisant une approche multisectorielle qui permettra d’actualiser et d’établir des plans de préparation et de riposte contre les zoonoses, les maladies infectieuses émergentes et ré-émergentes et les facteurs de risque environnementaux en utilisant l’approche « Une seule santé ». more
