Important Guideline for Ebola prevention and control
It is designed for the following uses:
- for prevention through preparedness--to help African health facilities make advance preparations for responding with appropriate precautions when a VHF (including Ebola) case is suspected.
- for pl...anning and conducting in-service training to strengthen standard precautions and VHF isolation precautions.
- as a rapid reference when a VHF (i.e. Ebola) case appears at a health facility where no previous VHF preparations have been made.

Guidance issued as of 25 March 2020
This guidance is intended for use by health authorities to guide the actions taken by health-care providers for refugees and migrants in relation to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. This document is intended to address the needs and rights of refugees a...nd migrants living in all types of setting.
General recommendations made by WHO in the COVID-19 response (link here) are the superseding guidelines. Unfounded measures regarding testing, health screening and quarantine should not be imposed on refugees and migrants.

Ce manuel a été développé par le Programme Spécial de Recherche et de Formation concernant l...es Maladies Tropicales (TDR) pour aider à la formation des Agents de Santé Communautaire (ASC) sur l'utilisation de l'artésunate par voie rectale comme traitement de pré-transfert.
Ceci est fondé sur la stratégie de prise en charge intégrée des maladies de l'enfant (lMCI), et une publication antérieure "Caring for the sick child in the community» qui avait été produite par le Département Santé de la mère, du nouveau-né, de l'enfant et de l'adolescent de l'OMS.
