By building the techni...cal and functional capacities of all relevant staff at WHO through e-learning courses and key nutrition-related training and knowledge materials, the Nutrition Knowledge Hub aims to contribute to the acceleration and increase of the nutrition impact at the country level. The Nutrition Knowledge Hub also offers free and open courses to reach a larger public and raise awareness on the malnutrition problem and WHO’s response.

The COVID-19 Pakistan Preparedness and Response Plan (PPRP) outlines the international assistance required by the Government of Pakistan (GoP) to stop the transmission of the pandemic and respond to the emerging public health needs in Pakistan. It is created in line with the Pakistan National Action... Plan. It aims to steer a coordinated international effort in consultation with Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) to support the Ministry of Health Services, Regulations and Coordination (M/O NHSRC), National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and Provincial Departments of Health, PDMAs under the overall efforts of the Government of Pakistan (GoP). It is prepared with the support of the UN and is guided by the WHO Strategic Preparedness and Response Plan (SPRP).

The PQS on-line catalogue includes details of all immunization-related products currently pre-qualified by WHO for procurement by United Nations agencies. The catalogue is produced and maintained by the Quality, Safety and Standards group in the Immunization, Vaccine and Biologicals Department of WH...O, Geneva. It replaces the old WHO/UNICEF Product Information Sheets (PIS), the last edition of which was published in 2000. The United Nations Maternal Mortality Estimation Inter-Agency Group (MMEIG) – comprising WHO, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), the World Bank Group and the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, Population Division (UNDESA/Population Division) has collaborated with external technical experts on a new round of estimates covering 2000 to 2020. The estimates represent the most up to date, internationally-comparable MMEIG estimates of maternal mortality, using refined input data and methods from previous rounds.
The report presents internationally comparable global, regional and country-level estimates and trends for maternal mortality between 2000 and 2020.

This is the result of collaboration between the Departments of Control of Neglected Tropical Diseases (WHO/NTD) and Data Delivery for Imp...act & Analytics (WHO/DDI).
With support from the WHO GIS Centre for Health, the platform is developed with a new generation of ArcGIS software. It comprises advanced tools for managing, analyzing, and visualizing updated multi-sourced data, providing an interactive and participative user experience. It includes updated range maps of all medically important venomous snakes, other relevant information, and an integrated antivenom products database.
