l Paraguay de la Organización Panamericana de la Salud/ Organización Mundial de la Salud (OPS/OMS) tiene como propósito generar evidencias sobre la capacidad de respuesta del país en esta zona geográfica, a fin de que permita establecer estrategias e intervenciones para fortalecer las capacidades existentes y facilite la toma de acciones oportunas para la prevención, el control y/o eliminación de este conjunto de enfermedades a la luz de los compromisos enmarcados en los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible 2030, la Política Nacional de Salud 2030 y el Plan Estratégico de la OPS/OMS 2014-2019.
