National Malaria SBC Strategy Development Package

National malaria social and behavior change (SBC) and social and behavior change communication (SBCC) strategies are effective for describing the priorities and focus of a country’s malaria behavior change efforts. The strategy indicates how partners will work to influence specific behaviors and improve malaria outcomes. Malaria SBC strategies should include a country’s definitive situation and provide clear and concise directions on priority audiences and how to influence their behavior. A malaria SBC strategy should also articulate the role of national SBC coordination committees or SBC technical working groups to guide the country’s SBC priorities and activities.
